Last night, around 10:30, the electricity transformer to our house was hit by lightening. There was a very bright light and a really loud pop and all the lights went off in our house. The electricity came back on around midnight or later. We were blessed to get up this morning and everything worked -- or at least I thought. Everything except the dryer. After work, I came home and threw some clothes in the washer that I need for tomorrow. When I went to put them in the dryer, I opened the door and sparks started flying inside the dryer. I screamed and slammed the door, which scared everyone. When Aaron opened the door again, smoke started coming out of the dryer -- NOT GOOD!! So, Aaron just got back from taking my clothes to the Caperton's house so they can dry. So, we are blessed that the dryer is the only thing that is fried, but I'm still seeing it as something the enemy is going to have to repay!!
Also, today Evan was at Aaron's warehouse while I went to grab some lunch. I came back and Evan was crying in the bathroom. I thought he just needed help with something and nobody was answering. But, when I turned the corner, Evan was sitting on the sink with a bloody towel in his mouth. He also had 2 cuts around his eye. Evan had 2 bungee cords attached together and then hanging on two boxes. He stepped on them and when he stepped off, they popped up and hit him in the face. It got the inside of his mouth and his eyelid and right below his eye. I'm telling you that there were angels there with him today to close his eye. That thing would have probably taken his eye out or SERIOUSLY hurt him.
I am so thankful that I have angels camped around my kids and around my house!

Mom & Payton vs. Dad & Evan
Payton and I have been talking a lot lately about how we are a lot alike and how we're so different than Aaron & Evan. So, I thought I would make a list of the things we've come up with:
Payton & Mom:
* We are NOT morning people.
* We like lots of covers on our bed.
* We are not "touchy feely" people.
* We are pretty serious people.
* We like things in order and organized. Most of the time, we have a place for everything.
* We like a plan. We don't operate well on spur of the moment.
* We like to explain ourselves when we are wrong (actually try to convince someone of why we were "right").
* It is important that people listen to us when we are talking.
* We are naturals at sports.
Evan & Dad:
* They are so very chipper in the morning!
* They don't like to sleep with covers
* They are very affectionate and love hugs & snuggling.
* They are really laid back.
* They aren't total messies, but they just put stuff down wherever.
* They fly by the seat of their pants. Usually no plans.
* Aaron's not so much this way, but Evan is quite the entertainer when he is comfortable in the environment.
* They have to work at the athletic part of them a little bit -- more Evan than Aaron.
These are just a few things of how we are all different in our house. I'm not saying Payton and I are better than Aaron & Evan -- not at all. We love them and realize that we need them to balance us out! Sometimes I wish we were more like them. We're just so different. I think it's really cool that my 6 year old is figuring out how we are alike and different. We were talking about this the other night and I told him that the reason we sometimes fight is because we're so much alike in so many things. He thought that was weird. He thought that we shouldn't fight because we are alike in so many things.
I will admit that Payton and I have gotten along much better recently and I like that! I changed how I saw Payton -- God showed me how He sees Payton -- and it did something in my heart. I'm so glad!! I'm really enjoying really getting to know the little person who is a lot like me.

Ding Dong Scooter's Gone . . .
On Tuesday, I finally did it. I put Scooter (our guinea pig) on Freecycle to see if anyone would want him. I had 3 responses and I took the first one. It was a lady who lives in Clyde and she already has 3 guinea pigs. She came to get him last night and was so excited about him!! She has some grandchildren that she said would love on him!! Payton was excited that she was excited about him and we knew he would be in a good home. I'm just glad that the boys' room won't stink anymore just because I forget to clean out the cage. We got Scooter so Payton could learn to take care of him, but like Pam told me, I learned something, too. Payton isn't ready to take care of a pet like that!! ;)
Here's an observation I've made in the last few days. Evan's been coming to work with me and it's actually working out ok for the most part. On Tuesday, I told him we would go to the park for lunch so he could run around and play. Right before we were supposed to leave, it started pouring down rain. So, we decided to go to the mall and play in the little play area. We were playing this alphabet game with the letters on the floor/mat, but I'm here to tell you that there is no "X" on that mat!! We searched all over for it and couldn't find it. So, next time you're at the mall play area, look for that "X" and if you find it, you have to tell me where it is!!

Thoughts on Working Moms
The last few weeks, I've had to fill in at Stor & Lok because the manager is in the hospital. Let me tell you, I have a new appreciation for working moms!! I can't seem to find time to do laundry, clean my house, hang out with the kids, squeeze in a little scrapbooking, get children's church ready, prepare for our meeting on Sunday, clean the kitchen, cook dinner, catch up the checkbook, clean out the car, and fold the laundry that I do get washed. I'm exhausted working 7 days a week!!
Work isn't that hard. I am just in an office all day. I'm used to doing whatever I want whenever I want. I do have a schedule that I go by during the week, but working has thrown me off. I do have my computer with internet up at the office, but there's only so many things you can do online. I read through my children's church lesson and I didn't like it -- not good.
Anyway, since we've been back from California, I feel like my life is out of my control. It seems like the whole month of April has been a whirlwind.
On another note, I talked to a few of you about how I was nervous about telling my sister that I was pregnant. Her and her husband have been trying for a year to get pregnant and it hasn't happened yet. She called me yesterday to see if the "rumor" was true. She is very excited about it. I asked her how their "trying" is going and she is very frustrated. She is making an appointment to see her doctor to see if they can get things started/straightened out. She's having her period every 2 weeks and they're lasting for 10 days!! That won't help her get pregnant!
I just encouraged her and told her that I have been in her shoes. We had a hard time getting pregnant with Payton and I know what she's going through. She seemed to be encouraged that there is hope.
So, please pray for her. The other night, Aaron and I were talking about her and he said, "I think it's something spiritual." Her and her husband have said they would never have kids. I think it's one of those things that is going to have to be broken over them.
Other than that, life is good!!

THE MOST AMAZING MOTHER-IN-LAW EVER!!
I don't mean to brag or anything, but I have the bestest greatest mother-in-law in the world!!! She really is amazing!!
On Thursday night, she called late to tell me that she had come to town and wondered what our plans were for the next day. I told her I had to work at the storage buildings and that Payton had a skating party at school that she could go to.
In the morning, I told Evan that Purty had come to town and asked him if he wanted breakfast. He told me that he didn't want anything because Purty was going to take him to McDonald's for breakfast. I asked him a few times and he kept mentioning McD's.
So, we got to the office and he said, "Purty, will you take me to McDonald's for breakfast?" She said, "Well, I guess we could go." I'm telling you, that child has her right where he wants her!! ;)
She went to Payton's skating party and ended up buying 3 kids inflatable guitars and she picked Payton up from school for me and took them to Frontier Texas. She took us back to McDonald's for supper (because Payton didn't get a Ninja Turtle at breakfast like Evan did).
Saturday, she had the kids until noon while I worked and she brought us Sonic for lunch. As she was getting ready to go, Evan started crying because he wanted to go with her. He didn't have any clothes and he didn't have his bop-bop (his blanket he HAS TO HAVE to sleep). But, he was determined to go -- bop bop or no bop bop. She said, "Why don't we just stop by Wal-Mart on our way home and pick up a few clothes for him and it will work fine." Evan ran and jumped in her car, got his headphones on for the DVD player, and off he went without a second thought!!
She's going to keep him as long as he will stay with her. I cannot even begin to tell you how much easier it is going to be to work with him at her house. We called last night to check on him and she said he's doing fine . . just chattering away.
I'm so blessed to have the mother-in-law that I have!! She's amazing!!!

Prayer Request
Today I'm blogging to ask you guys to pray for Rhonda who is the manager at the storage buildings. She went into the hospital on March 31st and is still there. Yesterday they told her it would be at least 1 week, if not 2 more weeks in the hospital.
I can't go into a lot of details on what is exactly wrong, but she had an abcess that got infected and they think it was a staf infection, which can be deadly if it gets in your blood stream. She has one spot on her body where they did surgrey that is 2.6 inches deep. Yesterday they put some kind of "vacuum" on one area to suck out the infection (or that's how it was explained to me). But, once she gets out, there will be some outpatient care that will have to be done.
Anyway, I'm asking you to pray for complete and TOTAL healing for her. She's in a lot of pain and she knows that God is bigger than all that she's going through.
Pray for us here at the storage buildings. Right now the plan is that I'll be working for her until she is able to come back. There is an older man who works part-time and he's had to learn the computer system and everything on his own and he is pretty stressed out about everything. Pray that he would have peace -- because the things he stresses about aren't really that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things and everyone is very understanding with him that things won't be perfect, but they are getting done.
Please pray that my kids (especially Evan) will be understanding and patient while we're here. Today worked out great because Aaron's mom came to town and she has Evan, which gives him a break from being in here with me. Good news for today is that I got a raise from the amount he was paying me when I worked here before (3 years ago)!!
Anyway, Rhonda's been coming to our Encounter services and I'm believing that she's going to come to KLF eventually. But, today, I just want God to heal her.

A Funny Perspective
On Friday, I was listening to a CD that I bought at Bethel and the words to the first song went like this:
Oh how we want you to come
Oh how we want you to come
It just repeats itself and that's pretty much the song. Anyway, the boys and I were in the living room and Evan was singing along with the song, but he stopped and looked at me. He said, "Who is Howie and why do we want him to come?"
No matter what I said or how I tried to explain it, he didn't understand that it was "HOW WE" and we want God to come.

Weird Dream
Last night I had a really weird dream and I'm not sure what it meant, but it was one of those "so-real-I-can't-believe-I-wasn't-really-there" dreams. I've been thinking about it all day and thought maybe someone on here would know what it meant.
I was in the USA, but I was also in the Czech Republic (sp?). The USA news was saying that there was a tidal wave or tsunami was going to hit the Czech Republic and it would wipe out the whole country. It was like I saw the news report and a second later, I was in the Czech Republic. I went there to try and save as many people as I could, but we got caught in it. We parked our car at our hotel and we watched the water go out and when it came back in, it covered 1/2 of my car. When it went back out, it took my car with it. We (I don't remember who was with me, but I know that I knew them) ran in the hotel and decided to go to the top floor because it should be the safest there. When we got to our room, we looked out over the ocean and watched it go out and knew that when it came back, it was going to hit the building and it was going to be powerful. The water came back in and it hit the hotel. We felt it shake and felt the lower floors give out. It was like the top of the hotel sat on the bottom rubble. The water went out and when it came back in, it knocked out the top floors of the hotel. I remember being swept away by the water, but then I MADE myself wake up. I remember in my dream that I kept telling myself to wake up.
Then, it was over. I'm not even sure if there is any water around the Czech Republic. I don't think there is. That dream was just so vivid that I felt like it was from God, although I'm not quite sure what it means yet. I had a dream a few years ago about tornados and I've seen that one come to pass. I never figured out what it meant at the time, but after it happened, I knew I had just witnessed the tornados(make sense?). This dream was just as vivid. So, any revelation on this dream?

We're Home!!!
YAY!!! We're home safe and sound!! Our flight home went much better than our flight out there -- imagine that. We flew out of Sacramento on time and landed in Denver. We didn't have much of a layover there and flew into Dallas. Nicole's flight from Sacramento landed in Dallas before we did and she found out our original flight had been delayed until 8:15 (we were supposed to land in Abilene at 8:30)!! Nicole said there was a flight leaving in 20 minutes. We had planned on trying to get on an earlier flight home, but we only had minutes from the time we landed (Me, Krissy, & Kelly) to get to the other side of the airport. We told Nicole to stop somewhere and try to get on stand-by. Meanwhile, Kelly, Krissy, & I were on a train and running through the airport like crazy people!!
We made it to a counter and got us on standby, but we had to go back up the stairs and get back on the train to get to the gate. Again, running like crazy to catch the train. . . I'm sure we were a sight to be seen!! We make it to the gate and they let us on the plane. We are sitting on the plane and I'm talking to the children's pastors from New Hope in Abilene (they were at the conference, too) when they come over the speaker and say we have to deplane. . . UGH! But, I would much rather be on a plane that everything is working than a plane that has a problem!!
We get off and stand and talk to the "New Hope" people and we are allowed back on the plane after about 10 minutes. Our plane landed about 7:45, but our luggage wouldn't be there until 9:15 pm because that was our original flight. I did seem to get a little more sick on the way home than on the way there. . that wasn't fun!
I couldn't go home without my luggage. Payton had asked me if I would get him a basketball jersey while I was gone. His only requirements were that it wasn't pink or purple and that it had a number on it. Funny thing is that we were in California -- the Sacramento Kings and the LA Lakers, but they are both PURPLE (and $55)!!! I found plenty of those jerseys, but no other colors. I went to Old Navy and found a blue & white jersey with a number 4 and some shorts. . it would have to do. I thought about carrying it on, but decided to put it in my suitcase. When we got on the earlier flight, I was expecting a major confrontation when I got to the airport because I didn't have that uniform in my hands, but Payton shocked me. He was very understanding and very patient with the whole thing. We went to Rosa's to eat and went back to the airport to get my luggage. My suitcases came around and I had to open them right then and there to get that uniform out. . . good thing I made sure I put it on the outside of my suitcase!! He was very happy with it and that made me happy!!
So, yes we are home, but we're all exhausted!! Krissy called this morning to see if she was the only one who couldn't get going. I told her that I was having a hard time, too. But, I have too many things to do!! ;)
Thank you to those (I can't remember who actually did it, but a few had the same idea) who cleaned my house and did the laundry and watched Evan for Aaron!! It was so nice to know that my life group wouldn't be completely shocked to come to my house on Wednesday night!! It also made it so much easier to come home and the house was picked up and there wasn't PILES & PILES & PILES of laundry waiting for me!!! It was also nice that Aaron could go to work without Evan for 1 day (Thanks Becky!) Those things were HUGE blessings to me!! Really nice to know that my "family" was taking care of my family while I was away.
Again, I'm still processing stuff and I can't wait to share what all we received while we were there. God gave me an awesome vision about our children's ministry and about our name and just some amazing stuff. I want to share it at church sometime when I have the opportunity to do so, but if that opportunity doesn't come, I will blog about it soon. . . but for now, I need to find out the status on our Easter Egg hunt. . looks like it could be inside again!!

Coming Home . . .
It's 5:30 am California time and we're getting ready to head home. Please pray for us for a safe trip today. Nicole is on a different flight than the rest of us as we're heading to Dallas. Just pray that we would make our flights. There are supposed to be storms in Denver this morning and we don't have much time between our flights there. We need to leave on time and arrive on time!!! We're also going to try to catch an eariler flight home from Dallas once we all get there.
Yesterday, they told us that during the night session, they would be praying over each one of us and doing an impartation for each one. So, we decided to go to the children's ministry final night and skip Kim Clement.
We saw an AMAZING ballet!! The kids did the first act of their spring recital for us. It was creation played out in front of us. Then, Adam and Eve were created. The serpent came and Adam gave the keys to the serpent in exchange for the apple. The act ended there, but it was POWERFUL!! We were all amazed at what the kids did -- from all age ranges, not to mention their costumes!!!
Then, the speakers kind of wrapped up the evening and asked for testimonies. They went on for quite a while. They had a time of answering questions from us (which was really short). Then, they did mini-fire tunnel and sent us out.
It really was powerful and truly, we have no regrets. But, I'm sure Kim Clement was awesome last night!! As we drove by Bethel to get to our location for the evening, cars were streaming up the road. Cars were parked all the way down the hill (where all the flags are) and people were walking up. We would have had to been there REALLY early to get in. It's ok, though.
We have had a great time, but we are ready to come home. I have had so much information and so much ______ that I feel like I can't take any more. I bought enough products to keep me busy for the next 2 years!! But, I'm holding on to the word that said I was sprinting for the endurance of the race! My suitcases are PACKED. Last night as we were separating all the stuff we bought, if sounded like this -- Rachel, Rachel, Nicole, Rachel, Krissy, Krissy, Kelly, Rachel, Rachel, Rachel . . I feel sorry for the people at the airport that have to go through my luggage. I'm not sure they will get my suitcases zipped again if they open them!! I might even have to pay extra at the airport because I think my luggage might be too heavy!! Oh well!!
So, I'm signing off for the day. I have been watching the weather at home for Sunday and it says it's supposed to rain and be really cold!! I need total cooperation from the weather -- today and at least until Monday!! ;)

Day 2 Expanded
This morning, I am able to think a little clearer, although it isn't all processed yet, I thought I would let you guys in on the events of yesterday.
Yesterday morning, we signed up to have some kids prophecy over us. It was AMAZING!! It was like they knew me without ever seeing me before when I walked in the room. Here are a few things they said:
* The first kid asked me if liked animals. I said kind of. Then, he asked me if I like to write. I told him it was kind of hard for me. He said he saw me writing and it just flowing easily. (It has been prophecied over me recently that I would write children's books and children's curriculum, but they had no idea about that.)
* The second kid asked me if I play the piano. I said no, but that I've always wanted to. The kid said he saw me playing a piano. Not reading music, necessarily, but playing powerful worship.
* The adult said he saw me playing a harp and switching out with a violin. (I don't remember the rest of it)
* The first kid said he saw me on a ship. It was a huge ship and the water was gold. He said that God was directing me and not to be upset when things change because God is keeping me from hitting the rocks.
* The adult asked me if I knew anyone who had broken their left leg or shin or had a knee problem. I thought about Avery, but I couldn't remember which leg and it was already healed. . then, I remembered that my knee has been bothering me for the last few weeks. Some days it hurts to walk, worship was painful, etc. He prayed for my knee and anyone else that I knew that had a problem in the left knee and my knee went numb and my lower leg felt like a noodle -- really weak. The pain left and I haven't felt it since.
* The adult said that my family -- immediate and extended -- would be serving the Kingdom of God. He asked me if there was a poverty mentality in my family and he broke it off.
* He said that God was going to pour out a healing ministry on me. I would see healings in all areas, but the main thing was cancer. He said he saw me with having a passion to see cancer erradicated since I was young. He said it would be in adults, but it would be in children, too. For those of you who can put those dots together, I always wanted God to use me to set kids free from cancer since my brother had it.
* I think the last part was that he saw me running a race. I was sprinting hard. He said that I've been sprinting and I keep thinking that I'm almost at the end of my race, but that God wanted me to know that my race was an endurance race, but that I would be running it like a sprint. He said my running shoes were golden.
So, how is that for a day? And that was only at 11 am!! We had an awesome time of worship last night. God gave me a word about roots growing from my feet into the undiluted Word of God and feeding the branches and watching the fruit become rooted in the undiluted Word and watching those kids produce fruit. I don't have the entire word right before me, but it was awesome. He said our name "The Everlasting Seed Company" was not a mistake. It was a prophetic statement.
Anyway, we're about to head back for the last day. Kim Clement IS going to be here tonight, but not at the children's conference. They are moving us to a different building for tonight's session and Kim Clement will be at the Bethel campus. We're trying to decide if we want to go to the last night of our conference or go to hear Kim Clement. . . decisions, decisions.

Day 2 . . .
Ever download something so big on your computer that your computer starts running really slow? That's how I feel today. So much . . so many things. . . so many words . . . so many ______ ______ ________ (you can fill in the blank and I bet you're probably right.
Today I received healing in my knee. It has been bothering me for a few weeks now and today it was healed. While we were being prophecied over by some kids (yeah, it was amazing), they called out my knee and prayed for it. My leg went numb and got really hot and there was no more pain. YAY GOD!!
Anyway, so much . . so much. . . so much. It's so late and we're all exhausted. . . our brains are running slow from the supernatural downloads from heaven. Maybe I will have more time tomorrow . . or maybe you'll just have to wait until I can process it all. . . either way, you'll have to wait!!

Day 1
Today, the conference started at 2 pm and it was so awesome!! They showed us pictures of where kids started praying for each other and God "broke out" all through their school. It started in the children's church room and spilled onto the playground, back in the gym and kids lives were changed.
Tonight, we heard a little bit on how to teach kids how to prophecy, etc. Tonight I heard the best "definition" of prophecy that I've ever heard. She said that to prophecy is just to see people/things how God sees them. That is so simple! She said that is how she taught her kids to prophecy -- just have them ask God how he sees someone/situation.
They talked about the kindergarten class at their Christian school. One day, the teacher was going to teach on the 5 senses. She told them to close their eyes and she asked them what they heard. Normally they would say the air conditioner, someone sneezing, etc. But, these kids said they were hearing God sing over them. Some of them heard Jesus Loves Me. The teacher said, "No, that's not what I mean. Close your ears and tell me what you see. They closed their eyes and their ears and said they saw angels. Some of them saw heaven. . . . I'll just say - that's not "normal".
ANyway, it was an encouraging day. Tonight, they did a fire tunnel. We weren't really sure what that meant, etc. but we got in line. As we were standing in line, Krissy noticed gold specks on her hands. We all had them. The lady in front of us told us it was gold dust. We all had it. I even went to the bathroom and washed my hands and it didn't go away. I've always been skeptical of gold dust, but tonight I saw it with my own eyes.
Tomorrow morning, we have an appointment for their kids to pray and prophecy over us. I'm really looking forward to that. Tomorrow night, they have a kids band that is going to lead us in worship. Tomorrow during the sessions, it will be more ways of teaching kids how to hear God's voice. I have extremely high expectations!! I'll keep you updated!!!

Church Today
We got up and went to Bethel this morning. About the second line of the first song that we sang, I could feel the presence of God fill that place. It was like a blanket that fell from the ceiling. It was awesome!!
The message that he preached this morning is one that we all definately need to listen to in iTunes!! Get it as soon as you can!! There are so many areas where this message is good for us!! I'll leave it at that.
The neat thing about Bethel is that it was bigger than our church, but it felt like our church. Krissy and I were talking about how we felt at home this morning at church. It was almost like we were at KLF this morning. They had people at the front for ministry time before the service. That was really neat. Then, it was worship and announcements -- and we got to see them before they're on iTunes!! It was really cute!! Pastor Bill got up and preached his awesome sermon and they gave an alter call for salvations. I think I saw at least 9 people go down for salvation!! People surrounded them and started praying. Then, they had more ministry time and there were probably 50 people stretched across the front ready to minister. We were dismissed as they started ministry time. We went to the bookstore and got our free CD of the morning's service (because we were visitors) and did a little shopping.
So, all of the things that I was "afraid of" are just working themselves out. I know -- DUH! I'm starting to get used to taking risks!! ;) Off to get some coffee!!

We have arrived . . .
WE MADE IT!!! At 3 am Texas time, we pulled into our hotel parking lot. It was about 12 hours after we were expecting to be here, but we made it!! And, we were up for 23 hours straight!!!
Yesterday morning, we arrived at the Abilene airport at 5:30 am. We checked our baggage in and we were ready to go at 6:29 am. At 6:15, they told us that our flight had been delayed until 7 am due to weather in Houston. That was fine, but we were cutting it really close at catching our connecting flight.
At 7:20, we were still on the ground and I asked God to move the storm so we could leave. At 7:30, we were boarding the plane and headed to Houston. YAY GOD!! We landed at 9:30 in Houston and we had missed our connecting flight by just a few minutes. The next flight out was at 6:30 pm. So, we had 9 hours in the Houston airport. Remember how I said I didn't know my way around the Houston airport? Well, I know it now like the back of my hand. We checked in with Continental customer service to make sure we got on the 6:30 flight. We asked about our luggage to make sure it would get to Sacramento with us because if we didn't make our connecting flight, neither did our luggage. Yes, they assured us that our luggage would be transferred and make it there with us.
We did have a great time there, though. It was a really long day, but we learned a few things: You can do the moonwalk down the automatic sidewalk (ask Nicole about that one) and you can rent a movie in the airport and turn it back in at your destination!!! We rented a movie and watched it on Nicole's computer -- well, 2 of us did because it was so loud that we could only hear if we used Nicole's iPod earbuds. I tried to take a little nap.
Our plane to Sacramento was delayed until 7:30 pm and it's a 4 hour flight. It was a really long flight and every chair on the plane was taken. I sat between 2 guys and we didn't say one word the whole 4 hour flight. I was exhausted and cramped uncomfortable. We had some food, but it wasn't all that good.
We landed in Sacramento and went to get our luggage. It wasn't there. Several people didn't have their luggage. They did find our luggage. Somehow it made it to the airport before we did. We still haven't figured that out, but it didn't really matter because it was really late, we still had a 2 1/2 drive ahead of us.
One thing we did learn is how NOT to act when you're frustrated with airport people. There was a couple who was supposed to be on our connecting flight to Sacramento, but their flight was delayed coming in, so they missed it like we did. We were standing in line to get our new tickets and Nicole & I cut to get with Krissy & Kelly. That guy was fuming mad!! Technically, we didn't cut, we were just trying to stay together. There was a man who had just got a ticket, but they wouldn't let him on the plane for some weird reason. He came right back and asked. He did kind of cut, but he had just been there and his plane was leaving very soon. Again, that guy made a rude comment about how people were cutting and why. He was rude to the lady trying to help him get on the plane to Sacramento at 6:30. Yes, we were all going to be stuck in the airport for all of those hours and none of us were happy about it, but there wasn't anything the lady behind the counter or we could to to fix it.
That same guy was one of us that didn't have their luggage when we landed in Sacramento. He was in front of us in line. Yes, we were all terribly frustrated and extremely tired, but Krissy was very nice and we got our luggage before he did. I believe that was the favor of God.
Kelly and I went to get our rental car and we came back to pick up Krissy & Nicole with our luggage. We pulled behind this white pickup and the sheriff girl was standing there telling the driver to stop. She wouldn't. The sheriff girl stepped in front of the truck and was yelling for the lady to stop and the lady tried to keep going!! All of the sudden, there were security people everywhere around the car. We pulled around her and kept going, but that lady was yelling and screaming at the security people. I don't know what happened to her, but I assure you her trip was longer because of her attitude!!
So, yes we had a VERY long day yesterday and we finally got to bed at 3 am (Texas time) after being up for 23 hours we crashed!! We slept really great, too!!
